There are 2100 licensed dentists serving 7,000,000 citizens in HongKong which makes only 3.3 dentists out of 10,000. This ratio is way below the standards of lot of developed countries such as US and Japan. Due to the shortage, citizen is find difficulties to see a qualified dentist. The same situation applies to the public hospital. Government has implemented a series of remedy measures to cut the deficit, it includes attracting oversea dentists to start their professional career in Hong Kong. The qualified dentist candidates dentist from aboard will require to pass a Hong Kong dentistry exam that offer by the board to obtain the professional dentistry license in order to legally work in Hong Kong. Dr. Williams S.J Zhu , director of Bauhinia Dental Academy, has assembled a group of licensed dentists in Hong kong together with previous examiner for the test to hold the seminar for the candidates. This is the first course that focus on Hong Kong dentistry examination in Mainland China. There were numbers of top experienced dentists from Mainland had participated the seminar in 2018.
Day 1. HKDC Part II Practical test
Hands-on Workshop and Lectures Combined Model
Part II: Idea to practices candidate’s competency of professional discipline and capable of operation on Clinical. Test including: Pedodontic, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Root Canal, Periodontists, Dental Hygienic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Our course affords workshop demonstration and guidance one-on-one on each of discipline. Candidates will practical exercises on the test according to the examination process in Hong Kong.
Day 2. HKDC Part III Clinical test
Part III: Idea to assesses candidates competences knowledge and skills necessary for a registered dentist to respond to the full range of circumstances encountered in general professional practice. Clinical trail study questions asked in clinic case and treatment plan. All test process are simulated Licensing Dental Examination of Hong Kong.
